I tried to change the brakes on my 25 Jetta which I discovered required SFD2 security authentication. I tried another device that claimed it could do it, but absolutely did not. I tried the EVO and it worked perfectly. It authenticated with the VW server, released the EPB, I changed the brakes, and set the EPB back. Perfect. The interface was easy to use. My son used it on his Mazda 3 to diagnose and repair. I am very pleased with the device, app, and price. Kudos.

Works as advertised.

Downloaded the app and plugged it in and it quickly connected. Changed some settings and it saved and has not reverted to the original settings. Most of these settings I can change are in the truck’s menu. There are about half a dozen that are in the computer and not able to be changed by me so this helped with that. I used it to stop the seatbelt notifications mostly. My only complaint is I was hoping it would allow me to disable the auto shut off feature and allow my vehicle to idle during the hot summer. unfortunately it doesn’t allow me to do that. It may do it on other vehicles and I understand that my vehicle (F250 Super-duty) isn’t as popular. The more common vehicles may have this feature. You won’t know till you buy it and hook it up. They don’t have a detailed list of features by vehicle. Other than that, it’s great.

EVO bundle worked perfectly to retract the electronic parking brakes on my wife Taos. I was then able to replace the rear pads and save nearly $700 vs. having the local VW dealership do the work. Awesome.

Make a customization that will code the puddle lights to work with after market without flickering. Heard coding was needed.

An meinem Audi A6. Konnte einiges ändern oder freischalten. Auch die Diagnosetools sind prima, wie z.b der Füllstand des DPF. Hat mir auch viel Geld gespart beim Bremsenwechsel an der Hinterachse. ...also wenn man fähig ist an seinem Auto selber etwas zu machen kann ich das Gerät uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Product is great it does as described.

It's a little longer than the original I bought, which I have to watch out for because I'll have it in sometimes driving so i can monitor things. But other than that, works well, don't see and speed increase in data flow though.

The open door chime, the seat belt ding.... NO MORE!!! Buy this ands make sure it's from CARISTA. Download the app BUY ONE MONTH AND CANCEL BEFORE 30 Days.
Important: after you make changes.... YOU MIGHT NEED TO START/STOP a few times. My changes didn't propagate until a few full OFF/ONS. THEN BOOM.... ALL CHANGES WORKED.

There's fine print that says "it mighty not work even when it says it will"... Something like that. You plug it in, open the app, PAY FOR ONE MONTH ONLY, make all the adjustments, TURN OFF THE BEEPS AND RINGS, and don't forget you Cancel the Monthly subscription.
With that said, I make a handful of adjustments, close the app, turn off my TRD PRO.... And nothing changed! I immediately blow a fuse, cuss, look for a site to give a bad review..... But then.... After turning OFF AND ON 2-3 times, the changes took hold. No more door chimes!!!
