Yes, but only for basic functions such as reading and clearing standard OBD2 fault codes, live OBD2 data, emissions tests readiness to see whether your car is likely to pass an emissions inspection, detailed ECU information, and tools like the acceleration test. Vehicle customization, advanced diagnostics, and service tools require an active subscription. Any changes made remain in the vehicle even after the subscription ends. 

The Carista App is an automotive software solution that works with an OBD2 scanner to give you direct access to your vehicle’s systems. It allows you to diagnose issues by reading and clearing fault codes, customize vehicle behavior by unlocking manufacturer-restricted features (such as lighting and locking functions), perform selected service procedures like battery registration, and view live vehicle data.

Simply plug the Carista OBD2 Scanner into your vehicle’s OBD2 port, connect to the Carista App via Bluetooth, and access diagnostics, live data, service tools, and customizations. Advanced features require a subscription.
