Full Battery Health Report
Buying or selling a used hybrid? Run a 60-second check on the battery pack, get a health score out of 10, and export the whole thing as a PDF you can keep or send.
Understand the car before buying
The pack is the most expensive part of a used hybrid, and the one thing a test drive can't tell you. Plug in before you hand over the cash.
Give a full report before you sell
A PDF with the VIN, the date and the score is worth more to a buyer than "runs great." Give them the number and stop arguing about it.
All metrics explained
AI Insights reads the weakest-cell voltage, worst-block resistance and pack consistency, and tells you in plain English whether it's a problem.
Know When It's Time For A Change
Numbers don't lie. The Battery Health Tool will give you everything you need to know before making a decision.

How can I tell if my Toyota hybrid battery is starting to fail?
Watch for fuel economy dropping off, the engine running more and refusing to stay in EV mode, the charge gauge swinging between extremes, and the battery cooling fan running loud and constant. One sign on its own is usually something else. Two or three together point at the pack.
What score is considered good for a Toyota hybrid battery?
Toyota doesn't show a health figure on the dash. Carista scores the pack 0–10 from live cell voltages and block resistance: 8.5+ is Good, 7.0–8.5 is Monitor (worth rechecking every few months), below 7.0 is Aged.
How long does a Toyota hybrid battery usually last?
Toyota covers it for 10 years or 150,000 miles on 2020-and-newer models (8 years/100,000 miles on older ones). Real-world life often runs past 200,000 miles. Heat and long idle periods age a pack faster than mileage alone.
Can I test my Toyota hybrid battery myself without going to a dealership?
Yes. Plug in an OBD2 adapter, open Carista, and run the EV & Hybrid Battery Health check. It samples the battery ECU for about 60 seconds and returns your score plus per-cell voltages and per-block resistance — exportable as a PDF for your mechanic or a buyer.
What dashboard warnings mean I need a battery check right away?
Stop and get it checked for the red triangle with "Check Hybrid System", the hybrid warning icon, or reduced-power (turtle) mode. Book soon, but don't panic, for a check engine light, rapid charge-gauge swings, or a constantly running cooling fan — a scan will tell you whether it's the pack or something cheaper, like a blocked battery fan filter.
