B0028: Right Side Airbag Deployment Control

Symptoms

• SRS warning light permanently illuminated
• Right-side curtain or seat airbag deactivated

Common causes

• Damaged or loose wiring under the right seat
• Corroded plug terminals or seat slider pinching the loom
• Defective right-side airbag module

What to do?

Inspect the yellow SRS loom underneath the front right seat. Ensure the harness is unpinched and firmly clipped. Clean the pins with contact cleaner, clear the DTC, and retest. If the issue remains, test module circuit resistance.
