B00D0: Driver Seatbelt Indicator Malfunction

Symptoms

• The dashboard seatbelt unfastened lamp stays dark when unbuckled
• The seatbelt warning light stays illuminated despite the seatbelt being securely clicked in

Common causes

• Failed LED/bulb inside the instrument cluster assembly
• Open or short circuit in the driver seatbelt indicator dashboard warning line

What to do?

Perform an instrument cluster self-test sweep using a scanner to see if the bulb illuminates. If the bulb works during the sweep, the issue lies in the feedback loop signal from the BCM or the driver buckle switch wiring.
