Symptoms
- Airbag/SRS indicator light remains on
- Center seat restraint safety features disabled
Common causes
- Faulty center seatbelt load limiter assembly
- Open or shorted harness loop in the center restraint circuit
- Damaged connectors under the center seating section
What to do?
Access the center seatbelt reel assembly and test the resistance of the deployment loop. Inspect the wiring paths for pinches or breaks. Replace the load limiter assembly or repair the circuit as necessary.
