B0001: Driver Frontal Stage 1 Deployment Control

Symptoms
- Airbag warning light illuminated on dashboard
- Airbag system completely disabled
Common causes
- Faulty airbag clock spring
- Loose or damaged wiring connectors under the steering column
- Corroded pins in the SRS harness
- Faulty driver-side airbag module
What to do?
Disconnect the battery for 15+ minutes to safely deactivate the SRS system. Inspect the clock spring for continuity and check all steering column wiring harnesses for open circuits. Replace the clock spring or faulty wiring.
